Design Brief: This 2 woman drama, about a caregiver dealing with the death of her son, was an intimate staging that required naturalism along with a strong visual character arc. Gloria begins the show in shades of gray, tailored and businesslike, but the textures are fragmented and chaotic. At end of show, her colors have brightened, strengthened and align with Grace’s palette, which has also become stronger. ~KM
