Design Brief: The Musical of Musicals: The Musical! requires actors to speed through musical genres and show references onstage and rapidly. To support the comic switches, I put the actors into clean and simple blacks, accessorized with pieces appropriate to the moment, stressing red and white as through notes. ~KM
