Notes: Father’s Day Breakfast is based on an incident from the autobiographical stage show by Michael Bonnabel, The Good Boy. It is set in the late 1950s in Pasadena and was shot on location. The goal was to create a naturalistic period piece, focused on character and using archival research material from the Bonnabel family.
