Hello, my name is Kara McLeod and I’m a designer, professor, and author from San Pedro, California. On this website you will find my personal design portfolio. I’m currently accepting new clients in the greater Los Angeles area (unless you have a travel budget and then, seriously, let’s talk!). I’ve worked in theater for about a million years, or around 30, depending on how you count. A few of the companies I’ve worked for are South Coast Repertory, Center Theater Group, UCLA, Cal Arts, Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theater Program, Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles and Disney Imagineering. I’m currently teaching at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Santa Ana College and Concordia University. Please enjoy this brief tour through some of my recent shows and a few of my old favorites!
